PERAGUARD® is the first granular (dry) peracetic acid (PAA) sanitizer, specially engineered to prevent cross-contamination on food or non-food processing equipment. It eliminates pathogens on floors, mats, vehicles, floor pans, or anywhere there is foot or forklift traffic within the food and beverage processing industry. PERAGUARD® is also an excellent option for cleaning cooling towers or as an oxygen booster in alkaline CIP systems.
PERAGUARD® is an odorless, dust-free, easily-spread product. It’s also non-slip, even on smooth floors!
PERAGUARD® requires moisture or water to become active. Due to its patented controlled release technology, peracetic acid is formed on-site when moisture is added or absorbed from the atmosphere. The result is a powerful, robust sanitizer that doesn’t contain any quaternary ammonium compounds (quats) and will not impact wastewater or digester systems.
In only five minutes, Peraguard™ kills 99.9% of Escherichia coli O157:H7, Listeria monocytogenes, Enterobacter aerogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, and Salmonella enterica.
