Metgard 8-2 is a water soluble, nitrite based corrosion inhibitor for temporary protection of steel parts and assemblies. At lower concentrations the resulting film can be painted without film removal. Metgard 8-2 can be used for improving the rust inhibition properties of conversion coatings.
