Metgard WD-80 will displace water from metal parts and deposit a thin, lubricating, colorless film. It is generally used as a “break free” for fasteners that have rusted tight. Metgard WD-80 provides protection of highly finished surfaces in indoor storage or transit where it will give many months protection (up to 12 months in some applications).
